Revive: to bring back to life or consciousness; to resuscitate; to impart new health, vigor, or spirit to; to restore the validity or effectiveness of. Revival: the act of reviving.

This past year, the Prince of Pastures Church in Loma Ardilla, Mexico has experienced nothing short of a revival. The church has joined with Plant With Purpose to implement a new project called "Church, Community, and Change." The project is designed to empower local churches to be an agent of positive change in the community. In just a year, the fruits of the project are abundant: interest in the church has grown, members have constructed a new building to house their growing congregation, and the children’s ministry has blossomed.

But the most significant changes go beyond the new church walls. Servant leaders have emerged with renewed eagerness to serve their community and partner with Plant With Purpose to transform lives, hearts and communities as Jesus calls us to do.

Santiago Perez, the committee coordinator of the Prince of the Pastures church, said, "We hope we can continue to work in unity with the whole community." We are truly excited to witness the revival of this church as they work to renew their community.

"The environmental group at my church recently went through Plant With Purpose's 6-week Bible study, and it was awesome to see what the Bible says about being good stewards of the environment. We examined the relationship between environmental degradation and poverty, and explored the themes of redemption and renewal that run throughout the Bible.
