Plant a Garden This Earth Day!

But ask the animals, and they will teach you; or birds of the air and they will tell you; or speak to the earth and it will teach you; or let the fish of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this. In His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.
Environmental restoration is core to the work of Plant With Purpose, because restored land means restored lives. Our heart is focused on the people who thrive when creation is cared for. Of those trapped in severe poverty, 70 percent live in remote areas where their very existence depends on the crops they’re able to cultivate from the land. We learned 30 years ago that to change the future for these families, hearts and hands must work together to care for soil, rivers, trees, and hillsides.
Today, as we celebrate Earth Day, Plant With Purpose honors the organic farmers, environmental conservationists, farmer associations, schools, and houses of worship that we walk alongside on a daily basis. These groups and individuals are creating a better future for their families and a better future for all of us who live on this earth.
During Earth Month, Plant With Purpose is raising funds to help 200 families plant gardens in Tanzania. These gardens utilize resources on hand to increase crop production, aid in water conservation, incorporate trees, and add diversity to diets by including nontraditional crops.
Celebrate Earth Day with us by donating to our campaign to move families From Poverty to Plenty. We’re 1/5 of the way to our $10,000 goal.
And join us today in praising the Creator for the beauty and intricacies of His creation, and the lives restored when creation is restored.
