It’s not too Late to “Lent” your Neighbor a Hand

Did you give up something for Lent this year? How is that commitment going?

If you’re fasting from something that you usually purchase on a daily basis, like coffee, food, or sweets, consider “lenting” the money you would have spent to Plant With Purpose’s life-changing work! Think about donating $1 to plant a tree every day until April 23rd. Alternatively, consider donating $30 to purchase a life-saving stove to a family in need. By reducing wood use by 50%, these stoves prevent deforestation and save time and money, improving the lives of rural women and girls who spend hours collecting firewood.

Or, simply pray for our programs. Here is a link to our most recent prayer letter: http://tinyurl.com/4979mru.

We hope this is an enriching time of reflection and discipline for you. And thank you for considering “lenting” the dollars you save to help transform poor, rural communities around the world.
