“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.” – 2 Corinthians 9:11-12

Who are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? We are thankful for our supporters, international staff, and partnering farmers. This strong network of individuals make the work of Plant With Purpose possible. We are grateful for the support and encouragement we find from the many different facets of this organization.

Support comes in many different forms, and every prayer and donation holds the power to make an impact. We are grateful for the generosity that supporters like you have shown this year. You are truly living out Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians, as your support is directly helping the needs of God’s people in impoverished communities, and overflowing in expressions of gratitude to Him.

In the six countries where Plant With Purpose works, a team of national, in-country staff leads each program. As our US office celebrates Thanksgiving, we are grateful for our international teams in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Mexico, Burundi, Tanzania, and Thailand, as they lead communities toward environmental restoration, economic empowerment, and spiritual renewal.

Partnering farmers are healing their land, restoring relationships, and breaking the cycle of poverty. We are endlessly inspired by their perseverance and trust in our Heavenly Father. As farmers supplement their income through family gardens and small businesses, they are able to give back to their local church. We rejoice with farmers like Thomas Nyika, as they show us what it means to be generous on every occasion: “We have enough to give than previously. So I feel like my relationship with God and neighbors keep growing every day of my life.”

This year, partnering farmers have planted over 2 million trees to restore the land. Programs in sustainable agriculture, community based microfinance, and leadership training impacted more than 20,000 families. In all of this, more and more families are growing their knowledge of God’s love for them.

Thank you for generously using your gifts to support life change across the world.
