Although traditional Tanzanian staple crops like corn and bananas keep children fed, 42 percent of them are stunted due to lack of nutrients. But family gardens change this statistic. The added nutrients that spinach, kale, tomatoes, and carrots provide improved health for families. Incorporating chickens, goats, and cows to the farm adds protein to diets and brings strength for tomorrow.
Let’s help families in Tanzania plant 200 gardens this spring!
Our goal is to raise $10,000 by April 30.
Plant a Garden – $50
Sow a Plot – $25
